Just watching the NRL U20s Grand Final. This kid is a halifax boy who emigrated to Oz with a couple of years ago. He's playing full back for the Melbourne Storm.

He's playing well in the GF and all this after he was named in the NRL U20s team of the year, last month.

Well done Fax. You should be proud.

Watched the replay of the Toyota Cup grand final last night and was so impressed with Widdop. Not only is he threatening in attack (his first try was a blinder), but his positional play was outstanding. You can certainly see the impact working with Billy Slater has had on him and his game reflects that in many ways. For a young lad he had an old head on his shoulders too and didnt get rattled by some of the rough stuff tactics from Wests.

This boy has got a big future in the game and we can only hope that one day he decides to play for his home town club. Well done Gareth
