No matter what happens on Sunday, I for one will be 110% proud of the efforts of the players and staff of Halifax RLFC.

This will be the first 'proper' final I'll have seen in 17 years in supporting this great club and I can say I'm incredibly proud of you all. The sight of the blue and white of Fax on the field in a final and a ground with thousands of Fax fans will be a moment and occasion I'll never ever forget, thank you for creating this fantastic opportunity.

For the day itself, savour it, play your hearts out, play with pride and passion, knowing there'll be 4,000 Fax fans behind you all the way, singing our hearts out, being the 18th man and more. Even if it doesn't go our way we'll still be proud knowing you'll have put in the effort of this long season.

For a year or 18 months you posted on here like a life long fax fan. supporting us, following us, and with a bit of info that helped us to see what was going on behind the scenes with the two clubs too. A balanced view.

Having read your post on the Town forum I think you are an @r5e. I don't want your best wishes for my club. Whether there is 50, 500 or 5,000 Fax fans there on Sunday, I don't care. I love my club and you can go suck Bin Ladens toe.

Play with pride lads, do it for the wonderful season we have had. Play the pressure free attacking rugby like we know you can and get your hands on that trophy. All the best lads
