As at Weds evening 6pm we have just a couple of hundred tickets left, all but 10 or so, standing.

The RFL are watching to see if we can sell our entire allocation as an indicator of potential Super League support in the future.

I know that a lot of our fans have bought tickets direct from the RFL, and that our support on the day will be great, BUT it would be a bit of a one finger salute to them if we could sell out completely.

So do you know anyone who's not yet got a ticket? If so can you try to chase them up for us?. . in the end it'll be helpful not only on Sunday but as we apply for Super League next season

Should really have said how important it was to buy from the club when I asked at the beginning of the week.

Anyway, it's not too late. Push your friends in the direction of the Club guys!

I agree, id have defo bought from the club if I knew this reason before but instead bought off the website asap as I was panicking incase we got a poor allocation of tickets numbers wise. Good point though on the ability to use it when applying.

i panicked not been a season ticket holder, that they may well all go before i had a chance of getting my hands on some.....

so i bought 6 direct from the rfl straight away. wish id have waited now....

thats great news tho overall. if the clubs only afew hundred of selling out our 2850 allocation.......loads i know of buyin direct from rfl(must be over 1000)

theres gonna be a fair few blue and white hoops on show!

Probably a bit of a faux pas just letting people have only 2 each to start with. It would probably have been better to sell out as quickly as possible and then go back to the RFL and ask for some more.
Also worth noting that members of the RFL do read these boards.

I actually have 2 spare for the west stand I think, I bought 4 just in case.

I think this has been a bit of a problem this year. Most people I have spoken to bought their tickets from the RFL. I doubt they will use the ticket sales as a 'gauge' for potential support.

I agree with this, many people who wanted more than the 2 tickets (and there were plenty )had no alternative but to buy them from the RFL it is a shame but not quite sure how to get round that.

Me and my little lad want a ticket each preferably in the North Stand and even better if near to a friend at work and his fellow fans in 20b (I think).

Also went straight to rfl...needed 5 tickets!! Was told sellin to season ticket holders only when phonein the Shay!!???

Thing is the club allowed season ticket holders to buy more than 2 tickets on Saturday anyway, should have just said buy as many as say 8 per season ticket holder on Saturday and Sunday then general sale on the Monday.

Lesson learned Mike hopefully for next year.

I think the club had it right in limiting the numbers Season ticket holders could buy, but that number wasn't enough. But where do you stop? If there wasn't a limit, then even some Season Ticket holders could have been left without tickets!

Fair point Yob. I felt the original allocation of 2 per season ticket was a bit low so i didnt bother on the day for season ticket holders only. I went the day after and i managed to get the 14 tickets i wanted. Maybe around 10 would have been better, therefore leaving plenty for regular supporter who didnt have one. Either way lets just encourage as many people to get down to Harveys to get whats left and have a great day out on Sunday, hopefully coming back with the cup......If we win the first round is on me at the Ivy House
