I am quite envious about how you Fax fans must be feeling this week.

5 day working week will seem like a month, no negativity about the club in the build up, few pints on Friday to calm the nerves, getting the shirt washed and ironed on Sat, setting out the shirt on the bed Sun morning, bacon butty breakfast early doors Sunday. Butterflies going barmy, excitement at seeing yer mates in the pub for an early start, CAR FLAGS!!!, trip down on the coach, meeting and greeting fellow fans at the stadium like never before.

The roar when yer team comes out for the warm up ( be the to experience that )

I remember it like it was yesterday, enjoy the day out Fax fans, and sing yer heads off ( Coz the flossies won't !!!!!! all the best )

Oh and being extra nice to wife/girlfriend/boyfriend etc

Not much cup final excitement in Derbyshire at present so getting up there on sunday and being around fellow Fax fans will be a blessing

I remember staying behind and watching the Whitehaven -v- Leigh match after we beat York in the 2004 play off. If I recall, Tommy Martyn snatched it 11-10 with a drop goal. I remember thinking at the time what a great atmos it was, and .... despite us being in the same division ... how much better drilled Leigh and Whitehaven were than ourselves. Ironically, despite my euphoria of survival, I was finally convinced Faz's days were numbered ....

Oh the pain, it was norman Turley, 16-15 up with 1min 50 secs to go and he does what he does best.
extra time was 1 wau traffic, but the thoughts going through my mind when we went 16-10 up with 9 to go will live forever, despite the fianl score.
Leigh were better team all season and deserved the Victory ( there I have said it doctor )
