Seen as the RFL seem hell bent on the Championship becoming a Feeder division for SL Clubs would you support your team-Fax or Widnes, Leigh etc if they became jus a feeder team to a SL Club and never having the chance to get out of the Championship?

Personally if that happened I would simply just stop following the club and probably stop having much interest in the Professional game. It would be like my team had lost its soul

its a difficult one that one.

obviously i would find it difficult knowing the club had no sort of real goal at the start of a season it would be tough to still have the same enthusiasmn

although being a FC Halifax Town fan as well am used to not having much to cheer and having a lot of down times and less ups. so i'm really used to it.

although if the game was to start going like that i would find it very difficult to support it fully but i beleive if you support a team you support a team all the way no matter what and that is probably what i would do.

i have to admit though thinking about it just makes me cringe surely the RFL cant do that

Simple answer NO. I wouldn't have anything to do with the sport. I support my team and my town if thats not the case then, last one out please turn out the lights.

I agree. My interest in the game would completely evaporate if that were the case.

Fans are willing to pay the current entrance fee because there is SOME glimmer of hope of a future. Becoming a feeder club as well as the new lower Salary Cap restricting our competitiveness would just put people off.

I think Rugby Leagues days are numbered unless the Championships make a breakaway and say goodbye to the Super Duper League Muppet Masters.

Surely people will soon get fed up of a closed super league though

if i was a salford or celtic fan, with clearly nothing to achive or be excited about (in terms or avoiding relegation) i just wouldnt bother turning up- if i knew it was to be that way indefinately

Would you still support them if we were at the bottom of the feeder club league. Eg. Bradfax??

id prob still watch them but only when it suited me, now i swap my shifts and save cash to watch them away from home. if they became a feeder a club id prob just watch them if i had nothing better to do

No . You would be watching a so-called FAX team.

I only say yes as I could not support any other RL club but Halifax RLFC - but ask me if I want us to be a feeder club I would have said No.
