Anyone would think we were bottom of the league with some of the posts on this message board at the minute! Wake up everyone! If i said we were going to go to Widnes and lose by 26 points and stay top of the league at this point in the season i defy anyone that would snap my right arm off for it!

I am fully sure you are right.

I never thought we were invincible, I never thought we could go unbeaten and I certainly expected the game last night to be a tough game, and to be honest I thought this was one of the games we had left that we would loose.

However.

We looked lost last night, we dropped ball after ball, in a 20 minute spell we struggled to get over the half way line. The paying fans, who travelled a long way have the right to expect the team to put up a fight and make a game of it, which seemed lacking last night.

I am 100% behind the team and expect them to be back to their best next week, but I have a right to be dissapointed and critical.

My thoughts exactly. After a win we are very happy and give the players the praise, when we lose we should be allowed to feel non so positive and try diagnose the problems and talk about what went wrong.. People need to get over the fact that this is a message board to discuss things, positive or negative.

The point is yes Widnes have the momentum at the moment , but with 4/5 games left then a couple of play off games when will the wheels fall off for them



You have 4/5 games to get back to where you were , you also have a game against Leigh to get back on track as for as your confidence goes

We have been here before, losing form at the wrong time, thats why theres gloom, no plan B, discipline gone, dumb rugby, poor backs cover, no recognised stand off..
Alarm bell, wired up and being tested, this is not looking good, we could end up with no boxes ticked very easily, momentum is required.
Lets stop pussy footing around whether were overly negative or not, we should aim to win every game or at least give ourselves a chance, we have won nothing yet, nothing..
If we only turn up every other week, will win nothing. 100 % commited, simple RL is required, not that ill disciplined, rudderless rubbish last night..

!!! The momentum is building.. the win last night was even more impressive given that we got back from a battling encounter against Toulouse this week.

Taking nothing away from Widnes but, the way Fax played last night, London Skolars would have beaten them.
