How far in advance do they announce fixtures being broadcast

Im disgusted we get Championship 1 game on TV on thursday, but Widnes v Fax you've got to travel/pay to watch

There's only one slot left for Thursday according to the schedule anyway. And thats the day after we play Leigh away, but we can't move that to Thurs cos it'll mean a 2 day turn around to our next fixture (and leighs)

there was all the talk midway though the season that Barrow were not getting enough coverage.

well i have thought this for a while we dont get as many matches on sky as we maybe should we have been on boots n all a few times this season but thats usually only 10 mins. i would have thought sky would have been desperate to put some of our matches on especially in the second half of the season when they knew we play some of the most entertaining rugby in the league.

i was suprised that a match like widnes v fax this week was overlooked for a championship 1 game but as long as we keep going and hopefully to the gran final then we can be on sky for the one thar really matters.

It was different with Salford last year, expect Widnes and Toulouse to be on TV every other week in 2011!

I suspect we'll have plenty of TV games in the play offs so don't worry!

I wondered if the reason that we have had no televised games recently could be due to the ongoing building work at the Shay. The entire East Stand would presumably be classed as a hard hat / hi-vis area.

That might be a very good call. It wouldn't surprise me even though I think some of those at Sky could do with a good bang on the head!
