After studying the various options our party - The Bar Army, Real Ale drinking offshoot of the Barmy Army - have decided to head for [u George & Dragon Pub [/u- Charles Wells Bombadier, John Bull Lager, other "Real Ales" and continental lagers on offer. The address is 1 place du Peyrou and the website is thegeorgeanddragon.fr/
It is approx 300 metres from Metro station 'Jeanne d'Arc' on line B - 4 stops to the 'Barriere de Paris' for the match at Stade Arnaune (Minimes).
We'll hopefully be at the George & Dragon around 3:00pm when it opens so anyone wishing to join us for a half of shandy please feel free to meet us there. We'll all be wearing Blue & White so you should recognise us!
Hope to see plenty of you there!!!!
The 1st choice the Frog & Rosbif only opens at 18:00 so they will have to enjoy our company on a different night!!! |
