Does anyone else agree we need to strenghten our pack, we've got a foundation in Watene, Tamghart and Smith, but i feel we need to get some new faces in in the close season, Larder & Wrench could possibly retire at the end of the season, Cherryholme & Wilson havnt set the Shay on fire this year, who would you like to see packing down in the blue & white shirt next season???

I think we will see a few changes up front.Would not be surprised if both Larder and Wrench retire , Wilson on all accounts is not signing for next year , Royston ,rumoured to be going home.I would stick with Cherryholme - I dont think hes done anything wrong; I was surprised to see him omitted on Sunday.I've no idea whos available but I think a couple more props and second rows will be required.If Royston does leave then i expect Beswick to be our loose forward.
while up in Gateshead on Sunday , a couple of people mentioned the Robbie Paul signing;if it does come off would he play at hooker or scrum half

What about Mitchell Stringer?

He certainly wasn't that good for Salford last year and with his injury troubles i'm not sure he's an option for Championship rugby anymore.

Cherryholme has gone ok for us in what is his 1st full season at this level. Give the lad time to develop. I think he is worth sticking with & he does give us more strength in the pack.

As for the rest, it was only at the start of the season when we were all saying how strong we are finally up front, with good impact coming off the bench. I still feel we have a pack capable of winning games for us. Class is permanent, form is temporary.
