| Not trying to jump the gun here, could useful to both sides.
When will tickets be able to buy for the winning team?
Will it be the following day?
Will season ticket holders get advantage?

| Season ticket holders have first dabs on an approximate initial allocation of 2,000. I imagine those will be sold. We/Widnes will then get a second allocation of unsold tickets. I'd be surprised if it was a sell out. Capacity is 9,650.

A Fax Widnes final wouldn't of been far off a sell out, I am sure we took 5 - 6000 last time

Quote Northern Rail “9”s and Cup final July 11th & 12th
Although we have yet to beat Widnes if we are to go to the Final at Blackpool , The RFL have already told us that the Ticket allocation for the two teams may well be restricted. . a figure of 2,000 tickets has been suggested as our allocation were we to be in the Final. . Given that we have well over half of that number as season ticket holders (and of course season ticket holders will qualify for preferential ticket allocation) that could well cause a shortage of tickets for everyone who might want to go to the final.
We currently have 150 tickets allocated to the Club for the Northern rail “9”s weekend. These tickets are priced at £9 if purchased before the weekend, but can be upgraded FREE for the final should Halifax get there (the cheapest Cup Final ticket is £12). Should you wish to go to both the “9”s and the Cup final these tickets can be upgraded for both by a further payment of £5 (you’d see both the “9” s and the Cup Final for £2 extra than just the Cup Final).
By buying one of these 150 tickets now you guarantee yourself a potential cup final ticket or at the worst a weekend at the “9”s. . it seems to make sense if you don’t have a season ticket to go for one of these? '"

Yeah, but it's not going to be a Fax - Widnes final. Hence, it won't sell out.

It will be all ticket i would expect because all the teams are playing in the 9's competition.
2700 tickets will be allocated to the 18 teams not in the actual final as each get 150 to sell to fans who want to see the 9s. Plus they can be upgraded to all weekend tickets which means they will be allocated against the gate.
2000 for each team means you already up to 6700 tickets. The capacity of Bloomfield Road is 9,650. I would think that sponsors and other people who don't care will get their cut. Plus you can buy tickets from the RFL so that will probably be the rest of the allocated tickets.
At a guess!

Don't be so sure. I think Fev and Barrow would snap up a 2,000 allocation in no time. If Barrow get there, Blackpool is closer to Barrow than any other pro RL stadium. Of the 6,500 that wathced the Wigan CC match, almost 5,000 were Barrow fans. Barrow AFC took 7,000 to The Riverside for this years FA Cup match, so the public of Barrow really do turn up for the big games.
If you add-on the 'neutrals' who are making a weekend of it having watched the 9's, under 10,000 doesn't seem to big.
By no way am I (or any other Barrow fan) counting our chickens. I feel pretty nervous about tomorrow and think it'll be REALLY close.
It would just be surreal watching Barrow in a cup final. It just seems too good to be true !

Funny really, how in the past 5 years or so you've managed to be promoted twice, but given how RL works its a bit strange you've managed to avoid a final of any sorts.

That's what I thought initially but I reckon the town could turn out. I've spoken to a few people that haven't been in years but are off to Blackpool should we make it. Plus with the footy team going t!ts up and having a naff reformation season it'd be good for local sport as whole. Which reminds me, has anyone told that set of moaning Town fans how nice the pitch is looking?

| None of the northern rail cup final games have sold out - can't see it being a problem this year either.
There was 6000 odd there for Salford against Doncaster last year. I'd expect any combination of this years four semi-finalists to top that, though.

We've done really well to avoid a final for 26 years !!!
(Where a 2nd Division Barrow beat a very good Widnes team in the 1983 Lancashire Cup ..... happy days !!!)
