I totally agree, France did have there 2 mins of having it all their own way and scored.
But the score is now 6 - 62 with still 14 minutes to go.
as well as the game being boring its hard work watching it, as it is very jittery, with Eddie Hemmings blaming it on a thunder storm close to France

| What a complete waste of time, effort and money.
Currently 66-6.
Are we really supposed to get anything out of a game like this? Its been said before and there are valid arguments for and against but surely we'd benefit form some version of our own SOO? Some version of Yorks v Lancs cannot be worse prep than this.

| said that they were even giving out free tickets for the game to the locals. What an effort just supposedly to cosy up to the French minister for sport, B Laporte, who used to be France RU coach.

| A waste of time game. Why was the game played in Paris ? Do they actually play RL in Paris ?
If the French are part of the great SLE expansion then surely they should have French players representing them, the game is going mad. The French RU side win against the All Blacks in NZ on the very same day their RL side take a thumping on home soil, who are the French public going to support, let's get real, it was a joke fixture.

Theres a couple of teams in Paris including one in Elite 2- the league just below where Toulouse used to be. However League has a very small presence in Paris.
To be honest it should have been played at Toulouse or Perpignan where there is good interest. Also would it not have been better to have Toulouse a blank weekend or atleast play on another day when a French test is on? The RFL & the French RL really could not organize a p1ss up in a brewery regarding many things

You could see the freebies all coming in after the game had started. It used to annoy me when Paris was in Soopper Doopper they used to let all the french in for free whilst the RFL used to tell us lot we had to buy tickets before we left this country. Knew a couple who flew over at the last minute just for the day and joined a Q for what he thought was for tickets . To find that they were all french waiting for gates to open so they walked in for free. This disgusts me why were our fans expected to pay when theirs wern`t? especialy after the expense of flying over there as well.

If he plays today its worked out better for us - dont think he would have made much impact last night in a poor team.

Yeah, but still, a cap for your country must be a huge honour win or lose. . .

Certainly is mate and I am proud of my 6 appearances so far- highlight of my Rugby playing career and I would expect most people to say that. Playing for your nation should be the highest accolade-sadly in RL we have watered ot down and in Australia SOO is considered a bigger honour for example and we have players changing nations like they change their underwear with Calderwood & Brough (Scotland then England) as well as many others doing it. Play for one Nation and stick to it and have pride in your shirt!
