Quinns are playing in their away kit, which has white quarters, therefore making Hull KR play in their away kit of orange & brown, to avoid a clash with their home kit, but their away kit now clashes with the ref's orange strip!!!!

You couldnt make this crap up!!!!! Why didnt they just tell Quinns to play in their usual 1st strip & HKR would then have worn their home kit. No clash with anyone!!!! simplez!!!!

Apparantly, they knew about this a couple of days ago if I heard rightly on sky & nothing was done about it.

Nothing surprises me in the land of super dooper league!

And it is the RFL apparently who tells clubs which kit to wear.

This is the same organisation that issues guidance and standards (criteria) to prospective Super League clubs in the franchise process.

Agreed, said that whilst watching the game. However they've been in a challenge cup final in recent years and are now playing good rugby with a fair few local players in the side but still can't get the crowds.

They will never get the crowds as long as they have a hole in their ....! It just wont work down there....southerners are only interested in girlie ball and kick and clap.

Thats what I heard on the tv, they said "someone" knew about this 2 days prior. Pressumably it will have been the match commisioner? Surely he must know by know what kit HKR use?????? pathetic

The RFL is a complete circus. Another lack of comon sence from our friends from Red Hall.

I can't see how it's the referee's fault if he had an alternative kit with him, the blame lies with Harlequins for not travelling with their correct strip, no arguement. They ought to be more professionally run.

Im not blaming the ref MM & I agree Quinns should have had the nounce to wear their "1st" strip, but surely the match commisioner or whoever from the RFL who knew about this 2 days prior should have intervened.

I must admit, I actually fell asleep watching the game.

I wouldn't have thought that the MC would have had prior knowledge until arriving at the stadium. This is the sole reason why the officials carry a change strip.
