This might have been discussed in length already, im not sure, sorry if that's the case but...

Anyone else get that 'feel good' feeling about the club at the moment?

The whole 'match day experience' is absolutely excellent ranging from the entertainment (good cheerleaders, good sound system at last) to the fantastic rugby being played.

I remember only a few years ago trudging up to the South Stand with an empty feeling inside me. This season it feels different and i am getting back the excited feeling from when i wake on Sunday mornings till i go to bed on Sunday night.

I must thank the whole team, from those on the pitch to behind the scenes... your doing an excellent job!!

playing some cracking rugby and the crowds will hopefully be getting up to the 3,000 mark on a regular basis by the end of the season.

I overheard a fax fan a few weeks ago talking to a group of 4/5 newcomers whilst walking into the ground and saying "We now have fire breathers, and proper entertainment!" so it clearly is a big thing to certain spectators.

I am proud to be a Halifax supporter right now, and will wear my shirt with pride.

Absolutely we need a Final, not been in one since 1991 the Second Division Premiership, a lot of people forget that, its been a drought. Teams like Leigh and Widnes have had several Finals since then, its not just about winning the Final its about being in one!
Winning one is a bonus.
In our history we have only had one decade (1910 to 1919) where we have not been in any Final and that was when there was the Ist World War!
So we need to get to one THIS YEAR or else we have been a failure in this decade

we made the play-off finals few years ago....but that was only to stay up in this division lol another site still shows the pics of the team celebrating. Faz refused to count it as a final too.

Feeling great going to watch Fax this season I just cant wait for the next match.

As part of the sound team I have links with Phoenix FM and therefore have produced radio advertisements for the Gateshead game and the widnes game in the past with more to come this season. This will hopefully encourage fans old and new to consider coming to matches every so often.

Sorry to bring this up YET AGAIN!

The one and only negative note is the website. The results, stats and League Table are running 3-4 weeks behind as usual.

The Internet is all about communication and if the news is not kept up to date then we might as well not bother with a website at all. As I have said before it is our "shop window to the world" and, at present, it makes the club look inefficient and amateurish which, as we all know, is no longer true.

The excuse "it's maintained on a voluntary basis" is just not good enough. It can't cost a fortune, in the overall scheme of things, to have it professionally hosted and maintained. Halifax Town seem to manage it, their website is updated with the result and the updated table soon after the final whistle. It even has a live feed to the match progress.

As I say, in every other respect, both on and off the pitch, the club is performing brilliantly so why be let down by something which could be so easily resolved?

agree with every word of that. plus it makes the team look like they arnt the best team in the league cause we are not top yet according to the website. it needs to be sorted and quick.

Not too many weeks ago we were told that the website is to be dropped and replaced with a generic RFL website, which will be adopted by most clubs in our league. The website we currently have is not the best but nobody else has volunteered to do it and the last time it was put out to an independant Web provider the quote was a 5 figure sum. At present the website and online shop is completely free.

But having said that, yeah, its a bit rubbish.

for a predominantly volunteer organsiation and only a few remunerated and very hard working staff - i am more than happy with the way things are going

the website will refresh when it is ready to go - it must be out of the clubs hands if it is going across several clubs in the league

The thing that really puzzles me is that, while the results are 4 weeks behind, suddenly the result from 4 weeks ago is updated when we have just played another game making it still 4 weeks behind. Surely it wouldn't take much longer, once you're in update mode, to update the other results and the player stats?

cant they get a web company to do it and give them free advertising?? i never go on it as i know it wont be upto date.
