They were following Loughborough and were going to pick up on the winners. They'll now follow us to Cas and follow the winners (clearly going to be us ) until they get knocked out.

There was a feature on today's show. Go to the BBC I player or press the red button on your remote if you're digital.

| Very very wierd why Harry didn't invite Nigel Wood to comment on Halifax and our cup progress, seeing that he once was heavily (pardon the pun) involved with the club. He could have asked Nigel "Hey, Nige, the incomplete stadium that Martin's just mentioned was started when you was there, many many years ago eh? Why wasn't it finished?". Just seeing him on the box makes my stomach churn, and when he opens his mouth I feel sick. "Edinburgh a great success" eh, Nige? Still full of the proverbial I see.

Yes it looked very successful when Huddersfield played the Celts there was a very empty looking stadium.Does anyone know how the money is shared out for the event ? Do they get expenses for going up there and is all the ticket money shared equally amongst the "home" teams? I wonder if Leeds would be as well off given that they get a good home gate anyway.

Probably would have been if he'd still been here.

| A tad unfair as I am pretty sure he would have made sure the "hospitality suite" was finished.

| Amazed how anyone can stick up for Wood, the only SL CEO who failed to get his club a sponsor for a season. The mind boggles. Anyway, been there and done that argument, can't be bothered with it all over again.
Back to this Edinburgh farce .... watching bits of it on SKY and today's SL Show, I found it quite amusing how much flannel they were giving it, how they reckoned that EVERYONE thought it was wonderful, particularly from an expansion point of view ..... Goebbels would have been proud of such blinkered propaganda. But read the weekend rags and see the likes of K Cunnigham slagging these circus roadshows off. And how local whino and bulls fans chose not to travel, not because of the expense, but "cos it's a load of rubbish".
But stop being negative, Tony, in 3 years time we'll have the jocks entering SL. And even after a further 5 years of constant name changing (aka Fulham London Harlequeens) playing in front of fabrigated crowds of 2,000 they'll STILL say it's a success. LOL. And any bets on Celtic's next name? I suppose it'll have to be Brigend. Or maybe Cardiff? Am I right? I'M NOT WRONG!

Tony, I can guarantee you that Celtic will never be called Brigend.

Never saw any of it, I wonder if people think 29K on Saturday and 30K on Sunday for 7 games including Saints v Wigan and the two Hull clubs and Leeds being there is a success?
I don't myself, come on thats just under 10K average for the 3 games on Saturday and 7500 on Sunday, with probably a lot of the same fans turning up on both days.
What makes me laugh is the point of Millenium Weekend is to showcase the game in expansion areas yet the clubs who need this the most right now are Celtic Crusaders and London (Harlequins),.
Funny it moved from Cardiff and last year Celtic got their biggest crowd due to SL fans turning up on the Friday night .

| The RFL maybe need to consider moving the magic weekend to Old Trafford & shifting the SL grand final to "outpost" venues.
