Great crowd at the Barrow v Wigan game, well done.
Obviously there must have been a lot of pie eaters there but its still a huge crowd for a club that struggled to get over 1K only 2 years ago.
I always thought they could become Cumbrias No 1, hope they beat Haven on Friday.

There were about 2000 Wigan fans at the game. What I did find very sad was the number of locals wearing Cherry & White ! I hope they change their alleigance and get their ar*es back down Craven Park. There is a shed load of photos on The Barrow Website & North West Evening Mail site.

Wigan got 1,500 tickets are were boosted by 200-300 'Judas' local Wigan fans (shame on them !!).
However, I have already spoken to 3 local Pie fans (season ticket holders) who will now be attending Craven Park when they don't clash with Wigan matches. I've also spoken to 4 fans who hadn't been to CP for 15-20 years and are now converted again. All in all it was a great day and hopefully will be a springboard for future seasons.
