Blue and white hoops deffo but not red and white hoops for the away kit its too much like Leigh! (and Wigan)

Its funny this topic has come up because some of the stuff I do involves creative design and I had actually played about with trying to come up with some designs for a possible new shirt for both home and away versions. Just about my final edit I had come up with a way to involve both tradition with a bit of flavor from the past and also the present to try and keep it modern. If the club are going to be doing a new design for the shirt I guess they are already quite far down the line with the design but if anyone is interested I can post some pictures on here of what I came up with.

Not bad. Sponsor would have to be in a different colour on away shirt though.

Would like the bands to be a little broader and as Neil says blue lettering on the away shirt.

I do like the idea of red and white hoops away, doesn't matter who's shirt it looks like.

I thought there was a rule about how much of an away shirt can be the same colour as the home shirt? Hence we've had very little white on our away shirt recently

GFB has delivered. I would say to Mr Croad & Abbott that if you don't stray too far from that design, get some decent material and get 5 or 6 gross over from Chittagong by the end of November you'll be able to knock em out at £50 a pop just in time for Santa.

Why would we not want Blue & White hoops? That's like saying do we want to be called Bradford ! Andrew Hardcastle might be able to help me out here but I believe that we had red and white as an alternative kit because it was the original proposed kit and didn't arrive in time for the first game. We then found some blue and white instead and kept with it! Not that anyone would call me a traditionalist but Halifax to me is blue and white hoops, nothing else seems the same

Blue and white hoops is the home kit kev lad.... Our tradtional away strip was cherry and white hoops.... I'd like us to go back to this tradtion it's our history and one we should savour!
