I completly agree He is moving back to this area so he is going to want a club in this area but I wonder if he allready had a deal with a club when he had is contract cancelled.

Thiink Said played in the 2nd row quite a bit in his first season at Oldham.

I'd hope that if we had the chance to sign a player of his talent and calibre if the salary cap allowed it that we didn't turn it down.

He can play prop, second row and loose I reckon. He's no centre, but I believe we could use him. He was a great player for us. Again if we have capability to sign him... GO FOR IT!

I know what you mean about another centre, because Goddard is our only 'official' centre. But we have Royston (once Miles gets back), Haley, Nash and Roberts who can all play centre. And James is too good of player to miss up on.

Well hopefully Goddard can live upto his billing as "one of the best centres outside super league" this year.

A couple of things regarding Matt, first of all i wouldnt rule out Mr Brown envelopes swooping for him. Secondly i wouldnt mind him at Widnes when Ben Davies loan expires and last i think the logical choice for him would be you lot as he is familiar and it's close to his Yorkshire home.

Would be great to see Matt at Fax but could we realistically afford him? Only the club and Matt know that. Obviously there will be many interested in him and a lot would depend on whether he got a pay off from Quins which could see him take less at a new club.

Hope he gets a Super League club. If we can't afford him I really wouldn't like to have him playing against us.
