We Had Baldwinson at Bulls a few years back. He never really makes a big impact. Leeds and Wakefield fans say similar.

More interested in how Fev fans feel about him to be honest. He always looked good at this level and to be honest he can't really have been expected to perform that well at his age in a team that were dropping through the leagues.

You do make a good point. Just saying what fans of other clubs have said about Baldwinson. Wakefield played him 4 times before shipping him out.

Fev fans thought he was good while he was there, crap when he left. Lol!

You've got an absolute quality player in liam cooper been on loan to us at haven all season everybody was gutted when saints pulled him back on Thursday didn't expect to be signing for anybody else.

Welcome aboard Liam and Jordan good to have you in the ranks to the end of the season.
It would seem these will be able to play in the 8’s or it makes no sense.

Apart from adding some extra quality to the squad and not weaken the team when they play it will protect and give the option to rest some of the regular starters who are carrying knocks.

Last year after a hard season, playing in the 8’s week in week out against full time and SL sides left some of the lads busted which adversely affected us early in the year, these and some of the better reserve lads will hopefully stop that happening again.

Edit: If we get past Rochdale.

Very true faxcar. Playing busted seemed to affect our small squad massively against Fev in the last game last year and probably the first month of this season. Good luck to new signings, again coming with points to prove, rather than journeymen coming for the easy option. They'll all probably know they'll have to train well to dispossess one of the current 17 too!

These signings seem to be very positive indeed. I think we can all agree that making the 8s would be pretty much mission-accomplished from an objectives point of view however the buzz that has been created recently has some of us anticipating more perhaps?

My concern is as someone mentioned earlier, playing SL quality team, regardless of how much some are struggling will take its toll after an already long, hard, hot season. On top of that, although BJ and Muzza are playing so so well, if one takes a knock we may only have JWH on call to slot in or perhaps Sam Wood now? I would be very pleased to see QLT back on loan just in case.

All said and done, exciting times come final whistle time tomorrow! UPTHEFAX!!!

I don't think that's allowed in the 8s as he hasn't played enough DR matches for Fax before the split. Only Maher allowed from Cas. So that's it now, deadline gone our squad is what it is.

Fev have signed Whylie on DR, or do Fev/Leeds get special dispensation?

I think that's different. The deal was done before yesterday's deadline and is a loan arrangement ........ Fev have a DR arrangement with Leeds anyway. I mean "loose" DR isn't allowed in the 8s (ie a decision made a couple of days before a match) unless that player has played the required DR games before the split.
