they make a big play on SOC and their expensive yoof structure, what smacks me is the fact that Widnes have all their finances in 1 basket, should anything happen to SOC then Widnes are just another basket case.
They may jibe as Fax cost cut but our position is solid and sustainable, not reliant on single rich backer. |

I dont think anyone can knock what SOC has done for them. Im sure that if we had someone like that we would have done exactly the same thing. Just think its funny that some on there see every comment in the press as a dig at them. |

Is this not the same Halifax you lot were saying where in dire straits unless you win GF? Or are we going back to the usual Widnes couldn't survive without SO'C but other sides would be fine?
Finances in one bucket? Did we not turn a profit and SO'C has set club up in a much better structure? As for Fax cost cutting tbh yet to see it! |
