Jones was v good at full back, then it was the usual candidates like white, worrincy, aizue who did well. Watene didnt do bad, fairbank put his usual massive effort in defensively.

Rumours abound today before the team was named that he is on his way out along with a few others.

As good as he has been for us in the past, he shouldnt have been signed for this season. Be interesting to see what is changed.

i thought we played well to be honest. the defence seemed to be a lot more structured however we panicked when fev threw the ball around. i thought jonesy was good at full back and beswick was great at stand off. however Chandler and Cherryholme didn't get that much game time today.. i wonder why?

Question on White running into touch - Do you think it is because of his centre being a winger and the lines he is running. Looking at last weeks game Pats did come inside when it looked a better option to go wide.

1st time he was unlucky not to get round the fullback. Second time was a school boy error when we need to be punching out the sixes.

He was sin binned for uttering the words "f*** of Gareth" to the ref after repeatedly questioning the decision!

I thought penky spent most of the first half looking for penalties, and had a go at the ref every single time he was tackled. He really needs to concentrate on his game, because he has the skills to be the best player on the field week in week out, and not on what the ref is doing. We need to be smarter in adapting to different referees, as they all interpret the holding down rule differently, in fact the same ref will interpret it differently on different days??

The discipline of some of the Fax players is definately questionable and whilst it difficult to highlight the main protagonists cos the problem is spread throughout the team, Penky, Jonesy and JG are the main culprits (tho JG wasn't his usually self yesterday).
Danny Jones was exceptionally lucky to avoid a sin binning after the touch judge gave flagged Paul White given his reaction to the touch.
Similarly Sam Barlow's reaction to the touch judge after Matty Dale's try!
