Christ if computers could laugh they would at half the crap on here.
For any set of rl fans with half a brain cell between them it was always going to be clear we would make a loss on year 1. When Seve bought the club we had to generate a playing staff, academy team and backroom staff from stratch. 250k was invested into the academy in year one which would set up a sustainable youth set up for the following years. This 250k costs will not have to be invested in future years making the balance sheet alot more healthier.
Debts had to be cleared, new seats were bought, improvements in the stadium rised significantly. These are all significant costs which will not be taken into account in following years resulting in us breaking even or even making a profit. I would much rather be in our position then any other club in this league when our off the field problems are concerned.
Correct me if I'm wrong but i'm sure i heard last week that if our turn over was £1m or more this year we are allowed to spend more on the salary cap next year than the other teams?

Makes me laugh, this thread is discussing fact (audited) and still WIDNES fans tell us their wrong and misleading!
the only crap on here is Widnes finances.
Lets hope you get your £1m turnover becasue SOC will be digging deepr if you dont

Think he goes to most games and he is always at the past players annual meal. I still think he does a bit for the club behind the scenes but the days of mass financial help are over which is sad for the majority cos a few Knobs decided to abuse him and his family. |
