Its a real 50/50 whether Miles actually kicked out or was just kicking his legs out to rebalance himself and get up.
If he did kick out at the guy it was only very slightly and not that bad at all, plus why would he they guy did nothing really?
I would go for the Ref got it wrong not just because he is a Fax player, i am sure he will get it rescinded.

It hasn't been updated yet. If you look at the bottom it clearly states up to 10/04/2009.

Yeah, sorry, just realised that Round 5 was, in fact, our 4th game because of our "bye".

Outcome of "no charge" from where the ref was positioned and how quick he pulled out the card,without looking at his touch judges imo its not Greenwood that should have been getting the warning letter from the RFL.

Thing is that he did not use the help available- TJs! He should be helped by the RFL and told where he is making the errors (same as all Refs) and educated on how to improve his performance. Bollocking Refs or doing nothing is not going to improve them. Does anybody know if Refs are giving a match review by the RFL and what areas they need to work on in future?

What do you expect the TJ to do? The ball didn't go out of play so he could do nothing!!! Who do you think they are, match officials?

A ref cant see everything and the TJs should be like another set of eyes watching for things or just confirming what has gone on. Its my opinion that there is not enough communicating and working together of all the match officials.
The TJs seem to do nothing except stick the flag up if the ball goes out and stick the flag up if a kick is successful. It would be good if they supported the Ref in a better way as Reffing is a tough job. If a Ref makes a mistake could they not let him know? If something does happen let him know?

It all depends on what the referee wants them to do ,many referees tell their TJs they will watch for off sides etc you just watch for foul play. I know this sounds daft but it does happen .
