Look up FOI requests they are posted publicly. Town not witholding rent - agreement I believe to lower rent due to incomplete shop.

If it's such a big deal then why aren't the council pursuing the club for the rent. While at the same time engaging with a director of the club over a possible sale of the stadium.

It say's Halifax Rugby League Club OWED £52,000, How do we know this has not been paid off?

Has anyone contacted the 'Janet Morris' at the head of the notification to see if this document is genuine?

Also, how have they come by this document? Did they receive it by hand as it is dated today? Surely the Royal Mail aren't that quick?

The fact that such an amount is owed yet six labour councillors have been having secret negotiations with the debtors over an alleged cheap sell off of The Shay is very serious, perhaps even illegal.

Legal or not, now this is in the public domain the councillors positions are untenable, they must resign forthwith.

One slight flaw in your plan Realist shay and that is Tony Abbott is buying the shay as part of his company Reactiv Media not Halifax RLFC so that my friend is perfectly legal and the deal is done anyway so put that in your pipe and smoke it now we can all look foward to a bright future at the shay instead of it being left to rot at the expence of the tax payer. Town fans live in the dark ages and clearly have no ambition it makes my blood boil.

Could it be like TA has allready actually explained the possibilty of purchasing the Shay came about when he asked if he could be involved in some way to complete sections of the new stand.

From there with the councils involvement disscussions were instigated about the purchase of the Shay.

Would they have had these disscussions if either party thought the interested party could not even afford a few grand of rent.

Would TA have gone to the Council in the first place if he was known as a bad payer.

Also at what point can these informal disscusions become classed as being secretly undertaken so as to be illegal and councilors lose their jobs, it was in the press months ago that an unknown interested party had come forward.
