Right, that is enough of the Batley team thanks very much !!.
So If the above 2 are in along with Morrison then so far there is 15 players sorted already, Some going is this so early in the Silly season. Poor old leigh havn't even started yet due to off field troubles.
Should we make a journey over for whip round, they would probably to the same for us, (again)

| I'd be pretty happy if this Hesketh rumour is true. Stood out as a hard runner when we've played Batley and their fans seem a bit disappointed to see him go.
Still don't understand this Rettie signing though... If its true...

| Hesketh was probably our best forward in 2010..big, tough and hard to handle. Scored a few tries too.
Totally different story though last year in that he was overweight and lacking fitness throughout the whole season. There's rumour that it was due to a pre-season injury but not sure if there's any subtance behind that. As a result he failed to make any real impact, except perhaps in a couple of stints against 'lesser' (no disrespect to those intended) sides.
Mixed feelings amongst Batley fans really. Wouldnt have wanted to lose the Hesketh of 2010, but not fussed about this year's version.
You get him fit again though and it might be a pretty decent signing.

He was playing in an extremely poor team, so may have understandably lost motivation, hopefully KH can bring out his potential better than Widnes did, good luck to him and 'fax'"
Bit harsh, he spent the majority of the last two games concussed

Fair view. Seems like a similar situation to Paul White (Last Year) and Dylan Nash (This Year) so I'm sure if they work on his fitness he'll be quite a positive addition.
He seems a big powerful guy, when I've seen him and that's what we've been asking for.

She carries on through it all......
She's a Waterfall: |

| If he gets fit he'll be an average prop in our league. Nowt more.
Not anywhere near the class of Tonks, Hill, Maloney, Dickens, Aizue etc.
He's a plodder with a similar diet to myself. I suppose there's a shortage of decent props at this level hence the interest in Paddy.
Morrison (if you get him) despite being smaller in stature has a much greater physical presence than Paddy.
Disguarded by Daryl Powell and unwanted by John Kear. - Karl takes a punt. Fair do's - and good on Paddy for securing another season's worth of income

Unwanted by John Kear, how'd you find that out? But I agree, I know he won't be a stand out prop (Hope he proves me wrong) but to be fair, a solid strong prop is just what we need. We still need to sign another stand out forward, but I'm happy with the Hesketh signing. If anything, he'd be a good replacement if Franky leaves, they seem to have a similar playing style.

I think Dickens, is underrated.
Obviously I only see him when we play Fev, but he always looks solid, nothing fancy, A hard worker.
And with the other thread, I also think Liam is a very solid player.
again I only see him when he plays against us, does he raise his game for that?
I don't think so. I would think he is like that week in week out.
A quality player.

That explains the straight replacement for Dylan, best he keeps clear of Sam in a tussle.

Was it not a collision with Craven trying to stop a try? And the first was Logan Tomkins at POR so he must have annoyed the teenagers in the group
