He was just about the last player to be announced last year. Not sure he's big enough, very rarely busts a tackle. Im sure he was a 2nd rower at wakey and we moved him to prop. Decent tackler and gives 100% but not that future for me, would rather have Sam barlow back.

Sam Barlow had a fine season. Out played our pack down at the shay a few months back.


I read the KR fans saying Makali would rip up our league up but don't remember him ripping it up before and he is a few years older now?

Anyway I think he would be a decent signing, better than a couple of our props at the moment so would be good replacement for those.

If maka puts his heart into fax which i think he will he will be a great signing for you guys.

Bet he's made more yards than wrench, bust more tackles, got more offloads and scored more tries, he's younger and from halifax. However I dont know what went on with him last time he was with us and regards his attitude.

You've been telling us all year how good Cherryholme is and he will come good and for me he's done nothing! He hits the deck as soon as a hands laid on him and nobody on here has mentioned him as a prop they want to re-sign next year! Each to their own i guess though!

Fair enough. He wanted to leave us though didn't he rather than us wanting rid? Bannister is a similar age and has had more clubs though! Some players just need to find a club where they feel settled.

Like Wrenchy a lot - solid, always gives 100%, wears his heart on his sleeve and plays with pride and passion. Might be getting on a bit but I would have him in my 17 every week, definitely sign him on for next season

I would give Dave another year....totally 100% every game is Wrenchy....never gets the credit he deserves for his work rate.

David Wrench is a solid player with a great defensive ethic. His marker defense is superb, which is more than can be said for many others. Sure, he doesn't bust many tackles, but he'll take the ball up more than once in a set, and he does make yards as well.
