| Are the players not creditors? Especially if they are registered as self-employed. If they are do they not have to get in line with the other creditors, the ones owed most money at the top of the pecking order and the ones owed least money at the bottom. I know they pay ridicules wages but the players cannot be the top creditors.

| Quote: MP "Sorry Rich, got to pull you up there. The Bulls have got an advancement on their Sky money to pay the wages this week. The rest of the SL clubs will get their Sky money next week.
The bigger question is regarding the guarantee the new consortium want regarding the license. Hopefully the RFL can't give that sort of guarantee?! Or can they? They didn't do it for Wakefield. Or did they?'"
We had a few people wanting to take over club i told that one of them was Steve Parkin a very rich business man who went to the RFL to ask if we were guaranteed a license and they said no which made him withdraw his interest. Glover took over the club with knowledge that we may not be in superleague the season after and his gamble paid off. The Bulls getting Sky money early already put thems on back foot for next season plus the loans they have if a company takes them out of admin they will have to pay this back plus amounting costs of the administrator. It stinks this but not just from a wakefield point of view. The Bulls lied on their license when it came to finances and Halifax should have been awarded the Bulls License. The Crusaders were not in as much mess as this but at least them and the RFL had the sense to call it a day.

Employees get some preferential treatment. No player is self-employed. HMRC just wouldn't accept it and quite right too.
One of the great principles of self employment is substitution. If I'm a plumber and you ask me to mend your tap, I can send one of my minions to do it. If I'm playing stand-off on Sunday, I would expect to coach to be a little miffed if I said I was sending my mate to do the job.

Ah ah ah! Our financial part of our application was too "speculative" and we didnt have a sugar daddy to bankroll us! The Bulls were always a better bet than us.
Fax made a profit this year

| So in a nutshell - Akhbars want to buy bradford and pay off all their debts, but only with the assurance that the RFL will guarantee the Bulls a SL license for the next 2 years?!
the RFL will now retreat to the redhall base and flip a coin (or however they tend to make these important decisions!) - i suggest a heavily weighted black, red & amber coin at that.
Not only that but the RFL will pay Bradfords way with wages until the next deadline (which should not have been extended in the 1st place!)
The whole system is a complete shamables and i dont even think that the RFL have a rule book written for such situations - which is why nobody in the whole of the RL community knows what the hell is really going on!
This situtation has brought our game into the national eye in newspapers and online sites, and all it has done is tarnish the great sport that is RL!
how are clubs supposed to convince big sponsors to come on board with RL when the governing body doesnt know its @rse from its tit!
this goes way back and is emmbarrasing!
i dont think that the bulls are out of the water just yet, and if they do go into liquidation they should follow the route of the welchies and be dropped to champ 1, regardless of 'fan base'
...... i was feeling a touch sorry for you Bulls lot, but after the special treatment that the RFL are now clearly giving you, im not!
would the RFL jump in like this to aid Salford, Wakey, Cas, Hull KR, Hudds, or any of their other members in the Championship/1?!! course not!
if the Asians dont front up the cash you should have to start again from the bottom. and i cant bloody wait!

| It`s not just that either, they actually want to buy the lease back off the RFL as there is a property developer in the group. I noticed someone has set a Facebook page up called Vote for no confidence in the RFL so if anyones friends with Woods and Rimmer invite them to join.

Yeah, with Sky money they owe them anyway.
The rest of the post makes sense but, let's be honest, no-one wants the season bu99ered up by some club dropping out and forcing a decision on whether we expunge their results or award the remaining fixtures. We want the games played. There's plenty of talk about "deciding matters on the field" when it comes to promotion and relegation. Why not here too ?

| I feel sorry for the people at the Bulls at the moment - I don't have any sympathy for the previous regimes mistakes and how they have managed to drag the game so negatively into the national press.
I don't believe Bulls will escape liquidation - I was always told to keep things simple in business - and it all sounds too complicated.

| The problem at the Bulls - and Rangers too, for that matter - is the people who actually caused the problem walk away pretty much scot free.

Slightly different situation and solution
We offered HMRC a ' promise to pay ' when our Championship ' central funding ' was due to be paid to us , they refused to accept the offer, so after discussions with the RFL the revenue accepted a ' promise to pay ' direct from the RFL presumably when that money was due to be given to us
Not forgetting we didnt borrow 700 K a few months earlier

I hope they sell that bloody bull, nearly as annoying as that Seagull.
I remember once getting Billy and Bluey to beat it up at half time at the Dull Valley stadium.
O'h for the good old days.

If all the Bulls fans went up the loft and got out their olf Halifax shirts and sold them for a tenner, well that's 30000 for the club.
