If you came into SL you would not be as competitive as wakey so no chance of you winning trophies either. The club is not in debt since coming out of admin we have gone from strength to strength in terms of revenue streams. Finally, whilst BV might be deemed the worst stadium in SL, once the improvements that are due to be completed in Jnauray are done, it will be deemed a B grade stadium and therefore along with a number of others will be fit for SL according to the guidelines currently in place.

Console yourselves with the fact that you have a world cup game at your ground and by the sounds of what your fellow fans are saying your best forward will be one that is not good enough to get a game for Wakey at present.

I know I would rather trust people who have brought a club forward from the jaws of bankrupcy in to one that makes a profit and has done something about the stadium. Fax were not prepared to play russian roulette and told the SL lot what was realistic. Wakey wrote a load of BS and once again made promises that the RFL keep falling for. I am happy where Fax are on and off the field though improvements need to be made still. If Wakey fans really believe the BS coming out from their club good on them. But the club has a poor history of actually being run in a professional manner and fulfilling what it says. The fact remains that Wakey are one if not the worst club in SL. You also have now one of the worst coaches if not the worst in Agar. He really went well at Hull didnt he.


Why did Wakey sign James if he is so poor? And surely questions must be asked about your conditioner if he is so overweight? You played a reserve Leeds team and were beaten by 16 points. Looks like another Long season for Wakefield whilst Fax will have a very good chance of being in finals. Crappy team? Interesting we shall see how crappy this team go. I know for a fact it will win more games and play better rugby than Wakey.

Remember, the RFL changed the administration rule on franchising to keep Crusaders in SL. RFL people worked at crusaders and didn't see their demise coming. Only someone pulling the plug Crusaders saved the RFL's blushes.

Wakey benefited from this and fair play. You would have been booted out had crusaders not folded. You know that. If you had been kicked out, Fax wouldn't have replaced you anyway, widnes would have so why would we have sour grapes?

Our problem is this, and it should be yours too, the whole mess that is licensing shows how big the RFL's balls are. Shows how they will bend rules to keep favoured clubs in, shows how the whole thing is subjective to how the RFL perceive how the make up of SL and the running of the sport should be.

If that doesn't concern you, and fans of super league clubs struggle to see it, then just wait until the RFL deem you as even more unfashionable. By then it will be too late!

Wakey have done well to stay in SL, them being in there gives clubs like ours hope, and I wish them well. But let's not pretend all is well with the sports administration. That is our problem

Appart from the slanging match between Wakey and us, is Mat James coming to Fax on loan a good thing for us ?
Thats what matters to me, the success of Halifax RFL. if Wakey, Cas or whoever mess up so be it. We know we have a strong club, financially viable and a great team and coaching staff fro the next 3 years.

By the grace of God/good fortune Wakefield will dine at the top table for another 3 years,however i still dont agree with licensing.
The fundamental right to play in the elite division should be won on the field of play and that right should be lost on the field of play.

Whats with all the animosity towards Wakey. They are a club similar to ourselves but we are all too quick to rip in to them.

I agree 100%. My issue is not with Wakey, they do what they have to do to survive. My issue is with the RFL who are, inept, corrupt and morally bankrupt.

Uptoncat you like most SL fans have 'swallowed the RFL spin' my friend, making a statement like 'following the RFL's advice' is very dangerous, I may come back in 3 years and tell you the same IF you don't get a franchise next time and see how you would take it?
The thing is the RFL are corrupt and we all know it, even SL fans but the problem is its like being in North Korea, you dare not say it or else they 'get you back'. Its do as we say not as we do in RL, when it goes your way RL fans are happy but they forget it may not always be like that!
As for your earlier statement calling our Chairman childish that was just plain daft, he was speaking from his heart and showed his frustrations after we did everything asked of us as a club the RFL stab us in the back and even make us say sorry for daring to speak out by writing our own later reply.
Oh and yes it still rankles us that even though we are financially stable and do not rely on one a sugar daddy to prop us up they keep a club in SL who rely on the owner of a double glazing firm to pump his money in yet that is better according to the RFL???

I don't really care what a few fools on here say, i have lots of friends who support Fax and i wish them well.

I enjoy visiting the Shay and will continue to do so when i can and no amount of talk on here will change that.

I don't think you understand the facts, AG as steadied the ship and tidied up debts, the rest is down to the fans and if we don't respond we'll not survive. In short AG does not have that sort of money and the RFL know that.
