I attended the Fax V Fev game and Fev brought a fair few and the atmosphere at the end of that match was fantastic!!! Please stop trying to belittle your rivals to make yourselves feel better at this tough time!!!!!

This may be true but Fev more than most only sing when they're winning!

Come next year I hope there is Halifax, Leigh and Widnes all battling out with more spectators, good games between us, taking SL scalps in the Challenge cup, we should all have better and more suitable stadiums than a lot of SL clubs, then with any luck Nigel Wood reitres from RL and goes onto work his 'dubious magic' with another sport and we can get on with some semsible, honourable, honest and fair sport.

The only thing i would ask is that we give Widnes, Fev, Leigh their own end, and pay a few extra quid for stewards cos the language is appalling at these games

Agree with that, any club who bring more than 100 should be put in the North Stand.
Come on if Halifax Town could do it for games when they were in the Blue Square Premier when there were often less than fifty away fans why not us?
I know its segregation like in football but we need to do it as away fans in the South Stand often mean that the team don't get the wall of noise from the Fax fans plus there is the potential for a 'hot spot' even though its RL sadly, the only down side is no bar in the North Stand, maybe they will be access to one wjen the new East Stand opens?

Ive seen Widnes fans getting ale from the hut at the top of the North Stand by the burger van. Totally agree,much better atmosphere when people are in 3 sides

That would be a huge relief and a great escape from relegation. However, much as an even number of teams makes sense, one extra home game doesn't do much to help all Championship clubs with revenue problems.

Mixed feelings on who I want to go down really as it looks like its between Batley and Leigh with Gateshead having that 'bye' against Donny.
I like going to Batley, they are a well run club and I fear that if they went down with the lack of 'away' support in Championship 1 they would not come back up in a hurry as they are not well supported. However I do not like that sloping pitch its not really on in the 21st Century come on its from the 19th century, they could have levelled it up if they had wanted and I think that they don't as they use it to their advantage.
As for Leigh I like going there too they are like us a true RL town, decent fans and should not really be in Championship 1, but they are a rival for a SL place albeit not our biggest as thats Widnes, but if they go down that puts them a year behind us at least if not out of the picture altogether as they will struggle to get a team good enough in a short space of time to get to the GF the year after if they got straight back up as they probably would.
Split on this, would have been better Gateshead going down as they are never going to be well supported and yet the daft bods at the RFL may even look at giving them a franchise for SL even though it did not work last time they were in SL, cos they are outside the 'heartlands'.
