I think its a great signing, he's a talented player who played for our main rivals last year. Looking at the bigger picture, with the exception of minns and baldwinson who've gone to super league, we've taken fevs best 2 players

Jy Came as a winger, scored in NRL on the wing, so Andy Hey played him at full back and he was terrible. Finally put him on wing and was superb

I would have him before will sharp any day. Jon Sharp had a disagreement with him a few weeks after joining and he's hasnt played since and been released.

Absolutely, once he'd got settled he really started to show some good form, if he'd have gone another yard against Widnes who knows how that game would have finished up, and his 2nd half display against the Bulls really was outstanding.
Im hoping now he's settled at our club and not worrying about playing each week that he will continue to show what he is really capable of.

Its great reading other teams forums and their fans are very clear "we need to sign a player for this or that position" where as i do not think theres many Fax fans who are not happy with what we have got. Obviously a bit of strength in depth will not go amiss but on the whole we have a pretty good team that play well together.

Although we competed with Bulls/Leigh this year, Fev under this current format will still be our main rivals for the top 4 along with Sheffield.

I personally would rather have moore than thackray, which is essentially the choice fev have made.

Plus, our pack is much better than fevs at the moment, all hb's are more influential when playing behind a dominant set of forwards. This year I though our team was slightly hindered by our HB's given Mennell left and Place wasn't good enough. Next year we've got 4 hb's who would all start for the majority of champs teams!

The 4 signings we've made so far have certainly excited me. Continuity is an under rated part of the game, Sheff, Fev and Leigh are all making massive changes to their squad and will have to bed in quickly to keep up. Fax on the other hand are coming into 2016 with a stable squad and some class additions

Gareth Moore didnt impress me last time. I was very disappointed how he came across in his interview this week. If thats him excited then jeez he must be a miserable sod! I think he has alot to prove and I dont see him as an automatic choice, more an option to use for certain games. He has a year to prove himself which I think is good. Hopefully he proves me and others wrong. People say he is a very good player etc. That I dont doubt. But for me I would rather have somebody he maybe is not as talented or maybe is prepared to roll his sleeves up and work hard to get into a team- Adam Tangata being a prime example. Rugby League is a team game and about sometimes not sulking but working hard for others and sometimes doing things you dont want. Up to now I dont see that with Moore. I hope he shows a bit more charactor and realizes that its not about one individual under RM but about the team.

I am not bothered about who others sign as we have the best signing already no matter who Leigh, Fev, Bradford etc sign. Richard Marshall for me is the man and we have seen what he can do with a group of players who were written off. Its not how much talent or skill a player or team have its how much they are prepared to do the hard work and the extra 1%. We have proven that even with a Part Time team we can more than match a number of Full time teams from SL let alone the Championship. The pressure is really on for us to not just be a one season wonder. But the players we have already have shown that we will be a tough team to beat with or without Sharp, Grix, Moore, Fairbank. The positive vibes are there and I feel another good season coming on and off the field

I think Fev are right to change Moore for Thackray, as keeping Moore would mean he would just perform as he has done this year (comfort facto) but what we have seen time after time is players improve and play better under new coaches and different training methods. I am comfortable with the signing as RM has decided he will fit in to the team.

Personally i feel that Gareth is a superb signing and that people should lay off him. He has a fantastic kicking game and will add that extra dimension to taking the team around the park. We are hugely over reliant on Scott which at times makes us very predictable. Imagine the defending team on the 4th or 5th tackle not knowing who is going to get the ball where as at present they know it is likely to be Muzza! He will shock a few!!

For me Fev were Moore and Will Sharp last season and very little of anything else. We have picked up their best two players. Thackaray will do well for them but it will be his running game as he doesn't have a kicking game.

I think it's a good move . He has an excellent kicking game that should compliment Murrell . Don't forget Murrell played in every game last season . With Moore onboard it gives us more options , perhaps RM can rest Murrell every now and then. Already looking forward to next season , squad looks stronger with more competition . Roll on 2016
