I don't have expectations where rugby league is concerned anymore.
The game has been ruined for so many reasons I just haven't the energy to write them all down again.
Unfortunately for Bradford fans their club had a grade B license awarded by the RFL only for it to be revealed soon after that they had no money with the RFL not knowing what to do.
After weeks of bad press for the game it has ended up with a rule change or whatever you call it under the term "provisional liecense" which never existed before.
This follows statements that Bradford were too big a club to allow to go bust, where in the licensing system or agreement is this part included.
If other clubs end up in the same posistion who don't have this same pretigious name like Bradford what will happen to them.
It's just a farce, the game has been made a farce, existing structure and rules mean nothing.
The licensing system and the criteria set within it mean nothing.
The RFL just change this to suit as and when they like.
The "Bradford Situation" is what has made this happen.
No one club should be bigger than the game but the game has been changed and affected by one club and how the RFL have dealt with them.
I'm sick of it and I'm sick of them.

The core reason is that people will pack out Twickenham, seats and crucially corporate boxes in a manner we can't remotely match. Furthermore they and soccer had their games taken around the world by the public schoolboys who ran the empire. However large a figure Nigel Wood now appears, he really is only of minor importance compared to these salient facts.

(NB it's also worth noting that for all their money, soccer and RU have their own problems. The RFL has never presided over anything approaching the Hillsborough disaster to give one, horrendous example of how badly a sporting body can get things wrong)

What I find quite amazing is the discussion about next years ST prices on the Bulls board, some are still suggesting a cheap price compared to 2/3 years ago

Class. Bringing the deaths of 96 people into a debate to try and prove our sport is only as badly administrated as others!

And, if you really think the FA, who oversee the highest grossing sports league in the world, are inclusive of all member clubs, act rapidly and consistently when punishing its members and is currently overhauling how its young players are developed in a way that is not detrimental to its members or the national side, are as incompetent as the RFL then you are sadly, sadly and massively deluded

Hillsborough is of course an extreme example. But it is one that shows that the idea that RL is cursed with uniquely deficient leadership is not really borne out by evidence.

Maybe you should have been pointing that out to your fellow Bulls supporters this week, the whingeing about how slow the RFL have been deciding where you will play next has been hilarious
