Mark terminated his directorship last November ([urlhttps://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06190029/filing-history[/url), but he's still Chief Exec ([urlhttps://www.halifaxrlfc.co.uk/our_club/contact_us[/url). From what I heard he was always planning to leave at the end of this season.

Mark has done a huge amount of work at the club over the last couple of years as a director and Chief Exec and the club owe him a huge debt of gratitude. I just hope the new board realise what he has done for the club, and have someone lined up to fill that gap that will help inevitably appear when he does leave.

Can anyone fathom out what Christian lister actually does work wise away from the club . I never understood a word of the MM introduction which sounded total bull. I couldn't pick out what was his skill area. Finance?
Strange really in today's world where you can usually get a decent clue about someone via the Internet. Ref MM yes you can almost feel he has left and the daily grip has reduced. Agree that his position will take some filling . The post about the club accounts from fuzzy duck concerned me slightly because there is usually a reason for delay.on such matters which may be something or absolutely nothing of any significance

Loads of info about him on the web if you want to do a bit of digging. Can't find anything bad though for anyone who is wondering or wants to have a moan.

I've no idea why you're rolling your eyes and shrugging your shoulders at me, Boots, all I'm doing is revealing on a forum that Fax haven't filed the accounts and I think fans have a right to know. Why is my observation upsetting you so much? Are you the Fax accountant responsible for such slackness? Or is it because somebody other than yourself has noticed and you don't like it? Why are you protecting such incompetence? Eh?

The Board was made aware this afternoon of post within this thread regarding the year end accounts and I would like to take a moment of your time to explain the planned delay.

As you will be aware the RFL metrics for ROI change after the 8s fixtures and due to this change, the board and I took the decision to accept a late penalty which we will personally pay because of the financial structural changes the club requires to meet its new obligations – we are as an example; completing 2 year ends in tandem along with substantial fiscal forecasting which (a) is a RFL requirement (b) meets the new ROI metrics and (c) provides the board and stakeholders with a longer term view. I personally agreed this format with the BoD, our staff, stakeholders and the accountants who needed to prepare the documents, who are working diligently to a tight schedule.
I wish, we had 9 months to prepare the 2nd set of ROI metrics but the RFL only gave the Championship and League 1 clubs the revised EBITDA formula for ROI, 6/7 weeks ago.

So turns out there was a reason and turns out the club were quite open about it once contacted. Yourself and Jeff will have to wait another day for the clubs demise.
