you take me wrong with the word invester, i just mean someone to help the "business" side of things grow like you suggested it needs to but i dont see that happening until we are at a top level where interest grows and it can help sell your club more. like you said no one is daft enough to invest at our level and big money boys just come and go anyway.
its a catch 22 situation where we need to grow but the real thing holding us back is going up and trying to build from there, yeah we may get stuffed but at least we can try build that just wont happen as as seperate business at this level IMO.
if this sport really wanted lower clubs to grow and expand (as it trys to lead us to beleive) it wouldnt be held back as i feel we are and the biggest example of this not including no promotion is a prize that doesnt cover your own salary cap

As regards the RFL, IMO they dont want us ( heartland Championship Clubs ) to grow, they want us to exist, to provide a pathway for others

find it easier to talk to fans with ambition lol but i understand why u have quit on your club, i havent mine yet as i know its not the current directors fault we are where we are in fact they have done everything right to get us where we belong but held back from a corrupt sport that dont really want us to grow and stopping us being top tier is doing that end of.
some people are happy being down in this division winning make beleive cups and thinking its better than being beat most weeks up there but thats again a negative attitude for the long term and the fans who say this i guess dont ever want to see us in another wembley final. yes it will be hard for a few years but it the good with the bad and it will be worth it given the chance

my main point is no matter what we/other club do at this level IMO wont grow without first going up and then buidling the business the right way and im no business man but that involves spending to gain on merchandise ect and future youth but again you cant gain from spending on that unless someone is there to buy it and by given the chance of promotion and gaining fans on the way then they can become the custom to what u intend to grow

oh and i will add one more tonight as i feel your unfair to question if our directors have done whats needed.
they have got us running debt free and won what should be a promotion match so yes i feel they have done their job on that side. in terms with the licence? perhaps not but im comparing with the other 6 clubs or so that shouldnt be there if we arent allowed simple as that.

you say promotion, relegation doesnt work as does that moron stevo but im sure over the last 100 years many clubs have gone up and down and gone on to win trophys and making money along the way. was it spent right by the majority? probably not but i feel clubs in our position have learnt and should be given a go and would do a better job that the salfords.
