There were too many occassions where DJ got the ball too slow from the Acting Half Back which left him with little time to direct his kick, many times he was kicking with a defender in his face.
Distribution from the AHB needs to quicken, Beswick will definately improve this. |

Come on mate, he come from the Cougars and is still working his way into a decent championship half back. Im sure most on here would swap him for a Finn/Thackeray/Rooney |

Certainly those players have much more experience than Danny but Widnes did offer him a contract for this year and he turned it down. So maybe he is also rated in Cheshire! |

Sam Barlow is a crucial signing he is nothing short of class and will be very important to our chances of defending our tittle and also adding the Northern Rail cup to our collection. As for Danny Jones he will be outstanding this season my brother even predicts him to be Championship player of the year and a Hull KR fan really rated him after seeing him on TV last season for Keighley.

Id still have DJ over Thomas Coyle anyday. Its taken Widnes fans a season to realise hes not that good, it took us about 3 games.
