Not convinced on the legality of that. I think you are able to offer something that is available but limited to a number but not offer something, someone may not benefit from due to luck etc.

| Quote ="Liane"I do think you are in a slightly worse situation, but I do see your point, if you get a home draw you should be able to benefit from it! I would suggest the RFL are compensating for it. I would guess though most other fans don't have everyone signed up too a season ticket, so maybe have walk up options. Most people likely to go too a bradford game now have a season ticket.'"
But those that don't have their SL season ticket won't go to the game , that's why the brought this daft idea in , because the Challenge cup is a SL competition only now , SL fans will not pay to watch their team play lower league opposition , club or sport eh ?

Same could apply with your game , if all 11,000 demanded a ticket as in theory they have paid for it , what could you do ?

thats why its counted as an extra free game that you have not paid for when buying your season ticket and yes if your lucky enough to be drawn at home

| i think i posted this earlier on in the thread but we must get something out of the bulls free season tickets. the RFL must give us something. Look at our 3rd round clash with lock lane. they brought about 100 fans does that mean we split the 100 gate reciepts 50/50? what is the difference between our season tickets being used for the 3rd round and the super league clubs getting the 4th round? what would have happened if lock lane had beaten us and they drew bradford?

It says due to availability, but I get the point it is a complete mess! I like playing lower leagues - different grounds / teams - always an upset somewhere!

| All Halifax have to give is 30% of the capacity to visiting club! Most grounds in The RFL would struggle to accommodate 11k season ticket holders at their ground!! The Shay is no different. Warrington, Cas, Wakefield, Salford the list goes on. Let's face it no matter who they drew (apart from the clubs at larger football grounds) this issue would have raised it's ugly head!!

The same thing happened last year when we had Dewsbury it was the allocation sold on a first come first served basis. The year before (the first year this was offered) we were away at Catalans. How the Bulls share there allocation amongst the season ticket holders is our problem. I think the worry on here is whether you get the cash for it. I honestly thought the RFL compensated via the some sort of payment from the SL clubs to make up for this which is the only way it would be fair to offer it. Ask Dewsbury fans because they had it last year?
BTW I was on a wind up earlier playing up to the stereotype as I pointed out but I think Lianne has proved that not all Bulls/Superleague fans are d1cks. I like Lianne and probably a lot of other people on RLFANS will buy a ticket from Halifax if we don't get our free one because we've waited for this game for ages.

Maybe you won't get the opportunity to buy a ticket from the Halifax club, seeing as the Halifax supporters have also been waiting for this fixture for a long time...

This sums it up for me really.
And as Chris says a little earlier, we only need to give Bradford 30% of the overall available tickets.
How good would it be, because of demand from the Halifax people, we can only give Bradford 30%.
Its not our problem they have so many season ticket holders (who cares how they got them!).
We were drawn at home, so we need to make the most of home advantage, and it that means having to sell 70% of the tickets.....let's have a crack at it!!!

Its not that far for a lot of bulls fans to the shay. I'd love to know what percentage of bulls registered season ticket holders actually reside in the HX/HD6 Areas?

HOW MANY DID WE TAKE TO WIRE FOR THE GF?
3500-4000.
I SEE NO REASON, IF MARKETED CORRECTLY WHY WE CANNOT SELL THE SAME FOR THE BRADFORD GAME.
I WOULD SUSPECT THE HALIFAX CLUB WILL NEED TO COMMIT PRETTY SOON HOW MANY TICKETS THEY ARE WILLING TO GIVE BRADFORD. IF IT IS ONLY 30% OF THE 6,600 CAPSITY THEN WE BETTER MAKE SURE WE SELL OUT OUR ALLOCTATION, OTHERWISE WE WILL LOOK ABIT DAFT. BUT ON THE FLIP SIDE, ANY AVAILABLE TICKETS COULD BE BOUGHT BY BULLS FANS.
