It,s Pete's initiative and nothing to do with the club.
Personally I think he deserves a great deal of credit for getting it off the ground and persevering. I like his idea of getting some of the players to comment after the game but feel that after games like yesterday it would be extremely difficult.
Credit to Karl for agreeing to the interview especially as unlike Radio Leeds he is not obliged to do so.
Perhaps one of the rooms upstairs might help you with the noise/interruptions problems Pete.
How much funding would you need to make the improvements you want to.

All the very best to you and well done , the funding idea is a good one but you may get a better response if people can see what they will be geting for their money as plenty of people did seem interested in being members .

John its my initiative with the clubs backing basically.

I will keep trying for a couple of weeks, try and give it some legs then we can see where it stands then.

and yes location wasn't great but that mic on the camera is designed to pick everything around it so a dedicated mic might help - we shall see.

Good on you for taking the initiative Triran. I think there's a huge lack of internet presence from Fax. Even the website could have more effort put in to it imo in terms of features and interviews with players etc etc so your videos are very welcome. I wouldn't worry too much about the location, you'd just think the Crusaders staff would be abit more considerate of an ongoing interview. I thought Karl was going to say something to them at one point lol. Looking forward to fridays video.

Have you contacted Fred Parky at Leigh? , I'm sure he'd offer advice to what works and what doesn't

Would it be worth contacting the company that does the signage at the Shay, with a view to them supplying one of those basic folding screens like the ones SKY use, made from perspex with their and possibly existing club sponsorship on it, that would possibly help with your mic issues and also keep people out of your way, cost wise to them would be minimal

I'd like him to be asked about options for goal kicking, IMO turner has been poor this year and in close games this could cost is the 3 points. Is anyone else there capable of being given a go ?.

I 'm not sure Tyrer (Turner) has been that bad this year, Sunday all but one of the tries (I think) were scored very wide, and one game this year IF he had converted that would have altered the course of the game, but, over 500 points for Fax must mean something.
Incidentally all those tries outwide showed how well we moved the ball.

Perhaps not the next time as you want questions about two upcoming games.
BUT Karl has many detractors at the moment, I understand he does a lot of media work for the club and spends a lot of his time at the Shay.
Perhaps sometime you could get Karl to talk us through his day, his involvement with the club, his aspirations for the club in the future, the financial constraints he faces (only one in the top three who won't break the salary cap) "allegedly"

Perhaps the best question of all would be "what do you think of Making Plans 4 nobhead Nigel)
