| What I find rather strange is ,as you say they have not paid taxes and vat for some time so in effect all the taxpayers of this country are having to stand this money not going into the public purse. It`s only a couple of weeks ago everyone was up in arms about Jimmy Carr and the rest dodging paying tax but the Bulls supporters think everyone should be in favour and it`s ok to just wipe it.
Seemingly the administrater and many of the fans gave a rallying call to the Bulls faithful who have season tickets to pay into the ground on Sunday to help the club pay for players etc` Today he said the crowd of 10,000 was overwhelming but only 20% had actually paid in so does this reflect their true crowd numbers if thet do get demoted one wonders.

| Seen something on twitter from RL feeds, an Asian consortium meeting with RFL today regarding future for bulls in SL, basically if they come in and save them than it's pretty guaranteed that the bulls will keep the license for the whole franchise period which is a disgrace IMO, first wakey and then Bulls!!. Unbullievable Geoff!!!.

The club would never be able to pay off existing debts if they dropped down to any lower league as there wouldn't be enough money generated. No one in their right mind stick a million quid in to a club just keep it in business for the Championship. Might as well liquidate and start over.

| Liquidation deadline extended to 27th July.
A flagship Super League club which holds a coveted License.
What a complete and utter disgrace. This shambles of a club with retain its license.
Complete joke.

Just giving more time for DD, could still fall through.
Who's financing the hefty wage bill upto possible sale?

| Akbars will pay £1m. For this, they want the lease back (which the RFL forked out £750k for) and a guarnateed SL license. Out of that £1m the adminstrator's duty is to share it amongst the creditors. The RFL are in to the tune of £200k(last months wages) plus £750k (lease) plus £200k(this months wages).
The RFL will see none of that money again. Pricks. They should not have got involved in the affairs of Bradford Bulls.

| How ironic. The "super" league club that "super" league can't do without generating media interest that "super" league CAN do without!
All this talk from bulls fans of the coral stand attracting investment - er, bulls don't own it! Hardly a great investment- loads of shipping crates attached to a disastrously failing business! Like Fax saying come buy us Russians - we have oil under the shay pitch!
Sad sad sad

I gather that they have 4 mortgages on that stand and part of the money raised by fans has gone to cover the then directors liabilities. No one seems to have mentioned who is going to pay the administrator either.

Sorry Rich, got to pull you up there. The Bulls have got an advancement on their Sky money to pay the wages this week. The rest of the SL clubs will get their Sky money next week.
The bigger question is regarding the guarantee the new consortium want regarding the license. Hopefully the RFL can't give that sort of guarantee?! Or can they? They didn't do it for Wakefield. Or did they?

Doesn't matter whether its an advancement or not! The whole shenanigans stinks to high hell and the RFL are up to their necks in it with Bradford with leases and forward payments and assurances.
The obedience and lack of criticism of the RFL is Orwellian.

I'm sure any club in SL would of been afforded the advance they're about to recieve on their Sky money. But as I said it is due to all the other SL clubs next week anyway. It is going towards paying the players wages which at the end of the day they are the ones that give us the greatest game in the world.
I do agree with you regarding the lease and assurances the RFL have been giving through the various media streams recently.

| After all this shambles is finished are the RFL then going to prapare for licensing in 2014? Are they actually going to go through the complete sham of a process and bring ridicule to the system? They'll get 17 or so applications on their desk but they won't have the foggiest notion of how to assess them because, in my opinion, some club reps are sneaky underhand liars. Either that or the RFL are stupid. Both in fact.
Ditch the charade of licensing. Bring one ounce of respect back to the game and just decide who you want in SL by having a meeting behind closed doors and stop pretending to use some sort of criteria because, not 12 months later you have a flagship club that has ripped off its fans, ripped off its creditors and brought shame to the game.
Bradford, Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Warrington, Catalans, London, Hull. All protected. All would survive liquidation and be handed their license back. Other clubs would be fed to the lions and kicked out. It stinks.

For quite someime I have been trying to put my finger on the manner all the clubs behave toward the RFL and you are so right it`s Orwellian. It`s like the millions of little Lemmings that charge headlong down a cliff , they know they should`nt but they just can`t stop themselves. The RFL keeps all the clubs in line so they don`t speak out and the clubs keep their own fans in line so they don`t rock the boat either.I just don`t get it ,it`s a long number of years since I read 1984 I might just get it and take a look .
