Spot on , Quite simply all non SL clubs and the RFL should be making the doubling of all clubs attendances the biggest priority

Unfortunatley the RFL dont have a clue , or they dont want strong heartland clubs outside SL

What is needed is personnel as in ' workers ' on the ground , something for them to work from and then money to allow the clubs to offer good deals or preferably free entry

In the Championship this year 6 clubs have provided the best , closest finish to any RL [ and possibly any sports ] competition ever in living memory

3 other clubs in this comp have also provided upsets to those 6 clubs

Only Leigh and Donny [ for obvious reasons ] have failed to step up to the mark

The majority of Money SO'C has pumped in is what he WANTED to!

I.e. the new seats... internet cafe areas inside stadium for players add the debts paid off that's all taht cost gone after 1 season! So you take that away next season and you'll prob find we'll be looking healthier than any other side in this league!

Also the hiring of TO'C, Sacking and hiring coaches etc comes into it all. The club now has everything already set in place (bar players arguabbly) so nothing else is needed next year whereas say Halifax now need to finish that stand... 100k? And run youth team... ours was 250k? So see how they start to add up etc!

The shay stadium isn't owned by Fax, we rent it.

The same thing that happens when warrington's or huddersfield's or Barrow's, We cut back. But we would still be the biggest club outside of SL with the biggest Salary cap.

SOC made it clear he was going to spend £1M or therabouts on infrastructure. He did it, its done.

This seasons figures will be more telling. Read into it what you like, the real scary thing for you should be that in a disappointing season where we were knocked out of the playoffs in round 1, out of the norther rail in the Quarters and finished just in the playoffs we managed an income of Near £1M.

He's a great man for the CLUB and what he is doing is 100% for the club and not for his own wealth, he offered the RFL 500K on the basis of if he ever left that would secure the Vikings in Sl!

Why are people making a issue of this and be nice to see halifax and other teams finances.I sure they nothing special in turnover?To be honest i think ste o connor is hear for a number of years as he enjoys rugby league and widnes.

we never see our own finances and always rumours of people being owed etc so why have a go at other clubs.
