Squad just announced. Only change is Jones coming in for Tangata. Interesting to see Leigh making 11 changes to their own squad with 13 of the 19 having squad numbers over the number 17.

Time for Jones to take his chance with both hands. Good luck lad retain the ball , no penalties and give them hell.

I don't think Jones will be included in the team. More likely to put Woodburn-Hall or Heaton in the backs and Butler and Barber in the pack.

Regarding Rochdale, they'll have at least 3 changes this Sunday with Bennion returning to Salford, Syme returning to us, and Moores out suspended.

I think Sheffield will smell blood, griff. A couple of wins on the bounce and a third win will put to bed any lingering fears of the drop as well as scalping Leigh in their own back yard, not to mention that Leigh's remaining squad must be somewhat dejected.

FD , I think you may be in for a shock, yeah we are down, but most Definatly NOT OUT, we will field a decent squad, all of who want to play and will feel they have something to prove,yeah a few have left , but a fair few have stayed for the battle.

Not much for us to play for, really. Despite "Every Minute Matters", it's still the same old story of small divisions + repeat fixtures = a lot of dead rubber games.

Swinton and Rochdale are five points adrift which is a big deficit to catch up. Making the Shield Final will probably be a mathematical impossibility for the bottom six in a fotnit's time.

FD I've just seen our squad of 19 for the Sheff game and it's a lot better than expected,I'm c of identity of a Leigh win, and a good crowd to boot,Leythers are very hardy people,we will be OK.
I would want Fax to do well, but not tomorrow,hope you understand,but I do predict a Fax win, I'm hoping maybe a shock at Barrow, sometimes 100 /1 shots win, though not often,Derek has gone now , and I'm hoping for a familiar face to surface, you never know.Take care.

I've seen our 19 man squad for tomorrow and it's not to bad.Tomorrow I will raise a glass in Franks memory,and hope the lads do him proud.I may even venture to the Shay for the middle 8s this season depending on the fixtures, but you never know we may even be in them.

Ey-up Ian, we're champion thanks. We called in't Legends bar after the match earlier in the season but you weren't there. How things have changed since then, I wonder what Frank would make of it all? We raised a glass to him in't Victorian before last week's Toulouse game, and another in't Pig's afterwards. I too think Leigh's best hope tomorrow lies at Barrow but it's your start to the season which I think you'll look back on on to rue. I remember before our game at The Shay talking to some Leigh fans in't Royal Oak and we couldn't agree who had the worst team! Fax are hoping to mix it with Leeds, Widnes, Salford and Hull KR in the next couple of months ……. so, with all due respect to Rochdale, if we can't beat them and beat them well tomorrow then we shouldn't be in the 8s, especially when our 4 rivals for 2nd, 3rd and 4th have averaged nearly 70 points against them in recent weeks. And it's a "must win" game so Fax will be totally focussed. Likewise, I cannot see Barra getting anywhere near Landan. Looks like Toulouse are disposing of Dewsbury in an orderly fashion also - EDIT - after going 12 nil up early on, Dewsbury coming back, now 14 - 12. Can Toulouse throw it away for the 2nd year running?

Re Leigh, you would have been in the 8s had your last minute goalkick been given against Toronto in the Summer Bash. It went over. That one kick may have altered Leigh's future.

It's totally obvious the RFL are struggling to recruit decent officials. Some of the touch judges I've seen this year just seem to 'freeze'. The occasion is too much for them. Anyone notice the TJ just stood in a daze for a minute after Gradys try. He had to be prompted to get behind the goal for the kick. The situation overwhelmed the poor lad.

Bottom line, and no disrespect to Rochdale, but if we don’t win tomorrow we don’t deserve to be in the Middle 8’s, that’s how it is, end of.

The set-up we have at the moment is a once in a generation perfect set-up. I feel if we get the roll of the dice, we have never been has close to Super League since we got relegated. We've witnessed the 8's twice, and realise how hard it really is. One reason why I think Toronto won't even reach the MPG.

Finally being able to relax and say well done RM, the lads and everyone involved in one way or another getting Fax into the top four.

Rugby am presenters were at game their show is on freeview sports tomorrow teatime.

Was a good feature and showed the club in a positive light.

Enjoyed the Rugby AM article and the lads seem the greatest of mates judging by the after match changing room celebrations. Even Wayne Godwin appeared to enjoy his day as honorary Fax Fan.

Also enjoyed the RL Back Chat programme where the Qualifiers were discussed. Gary Schofield seems to have taken a shine to Fax and even warned against writing us off. He's also a great fan of Richard Marshall (who wouldn't be?) and touted him as a possible Rhino coach replacement. Don't go, Rich, Fax have a real good thing going here and are slowly building the sponsor network and fan base. It'll take a year or 4, but we'll get there.
