Great performance by Fax tonight. Going into the game I wasn’t expecting a win, hoping that we kept them within 30 points and came through unscathed. Big blow losing Keyes tonight - shoulder ligament injury could be long term. Just hope the efforts tonight don’t cost us next week against Batley!!

It was a great performance and credit to the club from top to bottom. I actually think Grix thought we should have been closer in the score and Kyle amor made a valid point that our defensive structure was rarely broken down , a few tries from close range . We lost our playmaker early doors but inman stepped up , what a signing he has been . Steve lambert saying there was over 800 kids there is credit to the club and everyone involved. The cup run will have put more money into the club plus the squad builder and still a potential visit to Wembley . The season has been a bit stop start but we have shown that on any given day we can match the best in the championship, it’s early days but I think we can still achieve great things this season.

I watched redvee on you tube directly after the match, he thought saints left points out there, bud did give Fax credit for keeping them close.
He was more incensed about what an idiot Morgan Knowles is and fully expects the RFL and Wellens to meat out harsh terms, to the point of possibly suspending him for the season, then cut him loose as they don t need that kind of liability on their books.

Watched a rerun of the game last night - easy to miss when watching live as he doesn't do anything flash but Gee had an immense game both in defence and still being there at the death to help set up Fairbanks try. TV also confirmed how dire the ref was particularly with amount of lying on he allowed from Saints and the lack of protection he gave JWH when going for high balls.
