I don't get the mercenary tag. None of the Leigh squad is from Leigh indicating they're all imports... e.g. are there for delbert's wad.... same as those who play for Toronto being there cos of the cash?'"
because Misi Taulapapa, Martyn Ridyard, Frankie Mariano, Connor Farrell, Scott Wheeldon etc etc are all playing in their home town of Fev and definitely NOT there because they are being paid...

Well Dave, I've truly got egg all over my face
Well Charlie, i admire your optimism, but i just don’t think turning the losing habit into a winning one is as simple as having a decent side on paper.
I don’t expect Fax to hit their straps until Tangata and Kidds knees recover, we should then have a mobile pack with some punch, without that, Johnno and Muzza will be feeding off scraps for the time being.
Toronto, Leigh, London and Fev all look pretty evenly matched and will take points off each other.
I’m no mystic meg but i would expect a leyther to know this is a very physical division, its brute force and guile that get the job done.
I still say the side that got you promoted is better than last and this seasons. Fev and London are not the same sides either, and Toronto have that spark that your guys had, i wonder why
Welcome back to the SL Graveyard that is the Championship, and remember your time on the SL gravy train was just one season pass.

Oh to Bob Beswick back. Still a massive loss for us.

I've always been an optimist, when I play Poker folk say ,I will chase Rainbows to win a hand, and some of the horses I back belong on the Central Beach at Blackpool, I do think Leigh will be there at the Top of the League in August, it's only one game in, remember when the winds from the East, lean to the West.

He's grown his hair longer Norman - and actually looks younger for it! He also looked plenty young enough on the pitch! He completely controlled everything around the ptb and had us on the back foot most of the time. Also, there's nobody better at 'playing the referee' in that area. (within the rules, of course!)

Very true Alan, he is the sort of player every team should want.
