We played some great stuff (again), but were undone by silly mistakes and an inability to close a game out (again).

It's becoming far too repetative to be put down to just one of those things. Not sure if it's players or coaching staff (or both) to blame, but we seem to be incapable of defending a lead. Teams are realising that as long as they keep within touching distance by the last quarter then they'll have every chance to nick the win. To nil a team in the first 40 then ship 26 points to them in the second 40 suggests something more than just bad luck.

We benefitted from being under the radar last season, this time out there's a greater expectancy from fans and opponents and we don't seem to be dealing with it very well. Marshall needs to get a hold of it while the others are still dropping points around us or we'll be fighting it out with Dewsbury to finish 7th. We all love the fact that he tries to play a better brand of rugby that Karl did, but we need that ability to shut a team down in the last quarter of a match.

Dear Harryfax. Wasnt manning sinbinned yet again or did you only spot Gaz Hocks binning. Try watching the blokes skills instead of being so biased against him who knows you may even grow to enjoy watching him play.

Hock and Manning are both good players but they also have an edge to them, that's probably why they play so well, we all just have to accept thIs and hope they keep a lid on it more often than not.

I would respectfully suggest it doesn't matter who did what first, both players for me play on the edge and accepted the 10 mins, although Dane did seem a little perplexed as he left the pitch.
Not too keen on Dessy walking of with Hock at the end pointing to him and applauding him, but that's Derek.
Had a quick chat at the end, had a laugh, shook hands and to his credit he wishes Fax well.
Like the players he wears his heart on his sleeve and he will do for me.
