We objected to the change when Sheffield requested it on the basis that their ground 'may' be unavailable. We objected again when they said it was unavailable, offering to play any time on Saturday, or on Sunday Evening. That produced the statement that the ground was unavailable because of University Fixtures. We explored the possibility of reversing the fixture but (a) that would have added to the high number of 'double headers' at the MBI Shay in the winter/early spring which is undesirable, and (b) we would extend our absence from Home in summer to 7 weeks, with no certain benefit as Sheffield may still want to play on Friday in June.

It might be "temporary", but for an extra £2 it might be worth it to at least have a bit of elevation to see the game? After the middle 8's debacle at Sheffield, we owe them one, and every bit of support we can give is important.
