That's how I see it generally speaking in the worse case scenario with the more selfish clubs.
I have been told that the RFL did not want this and not all the SL clubs but the other (as it turned out)
majority of SL clubs voted it in.
This begs the question who really is running the game and pulling the strings when important decisions are being made that can have a serious effect on other clubs that they give no respect or thought to???
Likewise the SL clubs that chose to scrap a big part of their junior set up must have had some "off the radar" dialogue with their prospective partners "before" the vote was taken to make sure that it did not leave them short.
Maneuverings behind closed doors???
If this "speculation" on my part was the case is it legal to do so.
Even if it is, is it in a sporting sense ethically and morally right to do so.
Anyway as you say, all good stuff to have a natter about.
