my main point is no matter what we/other club do at this level IMO wont grow without first going up and then buidling the business the right way and im no business man but that involves spending to gain on merchandise ect and future youth but again you cant gain from spending on that unless someone is there to buy it and by given the chance of promotion and gaining fans on the way then they can become the custom to what u intend to grow

oh and i will add one more tonight as i feel your unfair to question if our directors have done whats needed.
they have got us running debt free and won what should be a promotion match so yes i feel they have done their job on that side. in terms with the licence? perhaps not but im comparing with the other 6 clubs or so that shouldnt be there if we arent allowed simple as that.

you say promotion, relegation doesnt work as does that moron stevo but im sure over the last 100 years many clubs have gone up and down and gone on to win trophys and making money along the way. was it spent right by the majority? probably not but i feel clubs in our position have learnt and should be given a go and would do a better job that the salfords.

For the vast majority of its life RL had 1 division and clubs reied on local players and the winning of trophys has nothing to do with running sports businesses

I'd suggest the vast majority of clubs that won trophys lost money

What have clubs in our position learned? , Leigh certainly havent learned anything and wouldnt do a better job than Salford, and lets face it is that the sum of your ambition? Getting hammered 3 weeks out of 4
