Rooney's been carrying a knock for a few weeks now, as have several players. With that in mind and James, Blackwood, Coyle, Ostler, Henderson and Nixon all missing, Sunday's result wasn't a great surprise really. And as you know well enough, it's not how you start - it's how you finish that matters.

As for the dig at McCormack, we've just had an 8 match unbeaten run including an away win at The Jungle (the first Championship club to win away against a SL club since 1997).

They had a really strong wind with them in the 1st half. It had died down for us in the 2nd.

Your right it is not how you start but finish.. We have started poorly so far and the momentum is just starting to build in time for the second half of the season



Funny how the losing team always complains of players missing. Fax had players missing too ya know.. Haley, Ostick, Maloney, Greenwood, Gleeson.. Black leaving the field early... Everyone has their injury problems its how you adapt and cope.

Aizue, Larder & Gene also went off injured.
