Just watched the match back and thought mick made a big differance last night. In the first half it was him who split their defence down the left flank and kicked well in open play aswel as tackled his heart out. Surely he should have another years contract offered even if the rumours are true about brannigan we need a backup and surely he must have some luck on the injury front.

We need a coulpe of signings. All we've announced so far is existing squad members re-signed. That's good as we've got to a GF but if we'd had a second half like the first then we'd be out of sight. We've made hard work of it with our existing squad and I'd like to think we can improve next year.

Don't forget that Nigel chip pants said that the best performing NL team over three years would be guaranteed a SL place. Never mind ticking the box....we want to be the outstanding team over three seasons eusa_shhh.gif

As much as Govin is a top player he is often injured and thats no good for us! Maybe he will stay but on pay as you play basis but still bring in Brannigan or another 6 maybe on a similar deal based on playing and Performance. IF Govin stays we need a good halfback just in case as this year we have been found wanting by trying to play penky, Beswick etc at 6 when clearly they are not right for that position. Tough Call for MC to make and Tough for Govin as he must know he is injury prone and people wary of signing a player who has such poor luck with injuries despite being a quality player.

Govin was instrumental in our victory last night, and made a huge difference to have him at stand off. Who knows if we'd had him all year!

pays as you play sounds the best option.

Well, yes, on our part. But Gov certainly should be at a top Championship club, so therefore could get a much better offer elsewhere. It's a tough one.
