We have the ball, you have the ball, we have the ball, you have the ball, we force an error, play in good ball.
However, for me it is not just about how a team plays, it's about how you conduct yourself, the way you interact with plays and your staff, personal behaviours, professional behaviours.. Coaches such as Karl and Noble ouze these traits.'"
Spot on. I've nothing against Matt Calland, and his reign at Halifax has, in no uncertain terms, been an exciting one. However, with the players he's had at his disposal - in terms of match-winning individual ability - even a very average coach would have been blessed with the ability at his disposal to win games from absolutely nowhere like Fax have often done in the last few seasons. I fear that the flair players he's been lucky to been able to call upon have, to a large extent, allowed him to gloss over a lot of his coaching deficiencies. A coach with the ability to formulate and implement a solid game-plan and structure - like Noble and to a slightly lesser extent, Harrison, would have made Halifax an unbeatable unit IMO.
