| If anyone out there is interested in Progressive Politics/Economics (wake up there at the back!), there's what should be a great event on in London 2 days before Wembley - Thurs 27 August - not a million miles from Euston station.
It features an Australian economist called Bill Mitchell, one of the world's leading experts on Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) and a bit of a hero of mine.
It's free and you can register for it via the following linkhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/reframing-the-debate-economics-for-a-progressive-politics-tickets-18152122487rl
If you've no idea what MMT is, but you are interested in how we can get out of the neo-liberal strait-jacket we currently find ourselves in, Bill Mitchell has a blog which he adds to most days. It might be an eye-opener if you have any interest in economicshttps://bilbo.economicoutlook.net/blog/rl

| He, and Steve Keen are probably my 2 favourite economists, currently. They're 2 of the voices of reason against the neo-classical economic order we're currently lumbered with.
