Just use the official free YouTube app from the app store. It's much better anyway

| Looking at my upgrades with Orange, the Samsung S3 (too big anyway) is £149.99, the Samsung S2 (also a bit too big) is £109.99, the HTC One X is £109.99, etc - basically all the top spec phones cost, while the rest are free.
And the brand spanking new iPhone 5 16GB and 32GB is also free.
Despite my best intentions, I actually considered joining the iPhone gang. But I probably won't, I'll shop around, plenty of people offering other options cheap as chips.
Wouldn't bother at all if my HTC Desire hadn't gradually been slowing down over the last few months to the point where even Paul Wellens would now give it a run for its money.

That must be a mistake. The iphone is the most expensive handset there is and there is no way a network would deliberately hand them out for £110 less than a cheaper handset.

Indeed, T-Mob is doing the SIII free on the £26 a month contract.

Nope, it's still there. I can upgrade to the iPhone 5 16GB & 32GB models free. Perhaps Apple have chucked some money at them? Or it might be something to do with pushing 4G? No idea. I don't spend much, my tariff is only £26 a month, but it's there in black & white.
It's almost worth upgrading, selling, then paying for something else.
In fact, looking at the prices on eBay, that's not a bad idea.

| You can only upgrade to an iPhone 5 on Orange if you choose one of their specific 'iPhone' tariffs, all of which pretty much rip you off.
The reason the other handsets you mentioned cost money to upgrade to is because you can keep your existing tariff whith those phones.
Seriously thinking about ditching Orange and just going with giffgaff.

I did have a look being with Orange but I'll stick with my ty phone until contract up in Jan.
Currently get 800 mins, unlimited texts for about £20

Just been looking at it a bit more closely and got taken through to their iPhone plans - not the best, but a decent one for £31 would do me fine. Hardly ever make calls so 100 minutes would do me fine, and the text/data allowances are more than enough.
I actually think I'll look around for a HTC One X or S, or Samsung S2 deal. Just can't see past the 'closed shop' system of Apple.

| Just got an S3 on Vodafone on a retention deal. 20 a month. Unlimited calls and texts.
My 3rd android phone (HTC hero and then a desire HD).
The handset felt a bit big at first but I've had it a few days now and love it.

| I have a Blackberry (stop sing at the back!) Curve 9380 with two email accounts linked up with my phone.
I move jobs next week and I'm looking to delete one of the accounts, but when I attempt to access the Email Account Management screen to delete my work account from the handset the message 'Your connection to the mobile network is turned on, but you are not in a wireless coverage area' is shown.
I'm with Orange. I know they are changing to 4G and messing around with the signal, because I'm currently on a 3g signal according to my handset which is unusual. I'm wondering if anybody else has the same problem, and who I should get in touch with to sort out the issue.

I got a text earlier telling me to turn the handset off and on again. I am now connected to the EE network. Have you tried switching off and on again or doing a battery out reboot job?

| Anyone rooted there phone reason i ask i have Galaxy Ace and you cant delete apps that came with the phone or move them to your sd card to save memory. Tried all apps on play store and nothing works without your phone been rooted.
Is it worth doing this or will it damage my phone?

| Three are driving me up the wall. My sisters boyfriend sold me his phone 4 after he finished his contract and upgraded. i was going to just transfer to 3 but the signal is terrible so I need to use my giffgaff simcard in it. the phone is locked to three. Has been upgraded to latest ios6 and baseband upgraded so I can't do it myself via the usual exploits. Phoned Three about 5 times. The phone isnt registered so I can't do it. I need to send them my proof of purchase apparently.
The original owner phoned them up and asked them to unlock it. They want 15 quid, fine just get on with it. gave them the IMEI number. To be told that isn't registered. When he bought the phone it was broken so he was given a replacement. turns out the replacement isn't registered, and his receipt is for the original phone and not the replacement that he was given. so he cant even register his own phone which he has used for the last 2 years to unlock it.
Not a clue what to do now. Companys want £100 + to factory unlock it because its on Three. The call centre staff are beyond useless. Going into the store tommorow but i can't see them being able to do anything, infact they'll probably just accuse me of stealing the phone or something. Fuming.

I had a nightmare with Three until I went on Twitter to speak to them. Few messages and they emailed me at work and then even called me up to sort out my problems. I'll be off Three as soon as I can be, but their Twitter team were a credit to the company IMO
their name is @ThreeUKSupport
It's the reason I joined Twitter!

Sounds like your sister's boyfriend is a crook to me Selling you a stolen phone and concocting a story to cover his criminality.
You've either got to do the decent thing and shop him in to the cops, handing the phone over, or move to 3. 3s coverage is far, far better than O2s, so you must be incredibly unlucky to be in a location that does not have a 3 signal, but has an O2 signal.
