I still see people going about how crap it is in comparison to "years" ago, like how Britain was so good "years" ago.

The sport is great, I have loved even the past few years, the world cup was a bit of a saviour this year but certainly these past 2 years have been great.

Getting these big names involved is superb, and I think it will only help the sport kick on.

My posts here were to merely defend Andy Burnham, who is a passionate RL person who would, I'm sure, seek every opportunity to promote the Sport. I guess some have seen him as one of a much hated breed - a Labour politician, and even worse, a Leigh fan!

why would the RFL stoop so low to employ/pay money to a bent politician/nobody? Can the clubs force the hand of the RFL to get rid of this useless freeloading scab?
